一个人的朋友会是很多的，比如一个人，一只小猫，一盆鲜花……我的这位朋友又是什么呢？请随我看一看吧。
那天，我家来了一位非常特别的朋友。上午我在家做午饭时，楼上飞来了一只漂亮的小鸟，翠绿的羽毛，红色的小嘴，黄黄的小爪子，忽闪忽闪的小眼睛，是那样的逗人喜爱。我忽然有一种想法——我想拥有它。于是我就去支了一个网，我想，它这次来我家我一定会把它网住。支好网后我又去做饭，大约过了二十分钟后，那只漂亮的鸟果然又来了，它一下子就撞到了网上，我看见就飞快的跑了过去，把它从网上取下来放进先前准备好的画眉鸟笼子里。
从此，我就把它当做朋友来看，它刚开始对我很生疏，总是想逃出去，我却自私的把它关在笼子里，给它喂水喝，喂虫子吃，它慢慢的和我成为了好朋友，它和我相处的越来越好，慢慢的它也爱叫了，而且叫声很好听。因为我养这只鸟，妈妈常常说我，她说：“你看，这鸟好脏啊！把它扔了吧。”我说不行！妈妈总是对这只鸟很不满意，常常为这只鸟和我争吵，我的心理非常难受，每当我难受的时候这只鸟总会叫起来，好像是在安慰我，让我不要难过。每次我伤心难过的时候一听它的叫声，我的心情顿时就会好很多。我有这样一位朋友我很欣慰。
终于，又要去上学了，要过五天才能回家。五天，本来是很短暂的，但在我心里却是那么漫长、难熬。熬到放星期了，我飞快的向家里奔去，一回到家就去去看我这位朋友，可我万万没想到我妈妈居然把这只鸟给放了。当时我又生气又难过，我放下书包朝林子跑去，看看还能不能找到它，可是我很失望，连它的影子也没看到。
第二天，窗外下着蒙蒙细雨，我睡了个懒觉，刚准备起床时，忽然窗外掠过一个熟悉的影子，我很快的走到窗旁，向外仔细的看了看，是它，我的鸟，我的朋友！我急忙推开窗户，它飞了进来，然而它在屋子里飞了几转就又飞走了。这时，我心里却有一种从来没有过的平静和喜悦。
从那以后，它常常在我的窗口出现。
