在英文中，介系词通常是放在名词前面。”On”、”In”和”At”这三个介系词则是在表示时间时，用来放在时间的前面。但是因为意思都相近，在使用时很容易被它们混淆！
Let’s talk的Rachna老师整理出了在英文句子之中提到时间时，”On”、”In”和”At”这三个介系词的使用时机与方法，并列举了许多例句做说明。相信你跟着老师反复练习几遍之后，也能将这些介系词的使用方法掌握得更好。
用于某个时间点、某个特定的时刻发生某事时。
ex. Carol leaves work at 5’oclock. Carol在五点钟下班。
ex. I don’t like going out at night. 我不喜欢在晚上出门(in the night是错误的用法唷)。
ex.We give each other presents at X’mas. 我们在圣诞节时送彼此礼物。
ex.Smith is busy at the moment. Smith现在很忙。
ex. Henry left school at the age of 16. Henry在十六岁时离开学校。
ex. I’m leaving town at the beginning of May. 我在五月初时会离开小镇。
ex. I’ll see you at lunch time. 午餐时间我将会遇到你。
ex. We arrived at the same time. 我们同时抵达。
表示在某个日期、特定的日子。
ex. Her birthday is on March 12. 他的生日在五月十二号。
ex. I go to the church on Sundays. 我会在礼拜天上教堂。
ex. We’ll meet on x’mas day. 我们圣诞节时会见面。
ex. What are you doing on the weekend? 你周末要干嘛？
ex. She’ll visit us on Thursday. 她会在星期四来拜访我们。
用于年/月/季节等，指在一段较长的时间里。
ex. It gets dark early in winters. 冬天天色很早就暗了。
ex. We’re in the 21st century. 现在是21世纪。
ex. The train will be leaving in three minutes. 火车在三分钟之内就会驶离。
ex. He will return in a month. 他在一个月之内就会回去了。
ex. I learned to drive in six weeks. 我在六周之内学会了开车。
ex. He was born in 1995. 他在1995年出生。
