2003年12月9日联想承担的国家网格主节点“深腾6800”超级计算机正式研制成功，其实际运算速度达到每秒4.183万亿次，全球排名第14位，运行效率78.5％。

世界最快
根据近日召开的美国达拉斯的超级会议2000中所公布的最新一届超级计算机排名，现存世界上最快的计算机，是IBM制造的ASCIWhite，拥有8192颗处理器，并能每秒处理12Tirillion个指令。而SGI则以一台拥有6，144颗处理器的ASCIBlueMountain计算机，排名在第4位。
