It is generally believed that there is a good supply of fresh water. But to our disappointment, the fact is just the opposite.
As we can see, the world population is growing rapidly day by day. So enough fresh water is needed to feed such a big population. What’s more, with the development of industry, factories and vehicles produce poisonous gases or wastes, which consequently results in the pollution of water. Though fresh, a good amount of it can no longer be used. Only quite limited fresh water resource is available to human beings. So it’s high time for us human beings to take quick action to protect water resource. Stop pollution and save water, otherwise, we cannot survive on the earth.

Habits
Habits, whether good or bad, are gradually formed. When a person doesa certain thing again and again, he＇ll be obliged to do it in the same way by some unseen force. Thus habit is formed. Once a habit is formed, it is difficult and sometimes almost impossible to get rid of it. It is.therefore very important that we should take care in the formation of habits.
Good habits have many advantages. Going to bed early and getting up early makes us healthy. Diligence helps to succeed. Honesty helps:: win the respeet and trust of others.
If we form bad habits, such as rudeness, laziness, lying and stealing, we might be mined by them.
We ought to keep away from bad habits and try to acquire habits good for ourselves and others. ( 133 words)

As is known to us all, the computer is an advanced machine. It has all kinds of types. Nowadays most computers have a memory
processor in which information can be stored and be taken out at any time.
The oldest kind of computer is the abacus. It was used in China long agoi.The first modern computer was very large and expensive, but now scientists already have been making computers smaller and cheaper, at the same time easier to use and work faster and faster now.
Computers can be used a great deal in many ways. It can do many kinds of work. They can be used in doing business and science research work, in some large factories, and our daily life. We even use it to play computer games at home. Today a lot of people buy computers. Computers is becoming increasingly popular indeed.
4.建立和谐社会Build a Harmonious Society
Dear fellow students,
Our government is going to build a "harmonious society". I think it is everyone's duty to work hard to achieve this goal.
As high school students, what should we do ?
First of all, we should love our motherland. Let's take a great interest in the development of our hometowns and take an active part in our school's activities.
Secondly, let's fill the world with love. We should show our respect for old people, our parents and our teachers. We should also care for each other and help those in need. Most important of all, all of us must be faithful and honest in our daily life.
Finally, let's work together to save energy and protect our natural environment, including animals, trees, flowers and grass.
As for myself, I will study even harder and try my best to do all the above.
