Mountain Tai, a perfect combination of culture and natural landscape, is one of China’s most famous mountains. Located in central Shang dong Province, Mountain Tai rises 1,545 meters above sea level. Its highest peak Yuhuangding stands over deep valleys and above other perilous peaks. A staircase leads you to the Heavenly Southern Gate, where you look around in the distance, enjoying with involuntary admiration the overpowering views of mountains beyond mountain and scenery beyond scenery.
