请问大家这部分but fearing that she would never see Tastus again 非谓语动词作decided的状语吗？如果是的话，那么具体看作什么状语 谢谢大家的指点与说明。

这样说更好：
=She decided to go to the police，but she feared that she would never see Tastus again.她决定去报警，但又害怕再也见不到塔斯特斯了。
个人觉得这句话不大合乎语法。
因为but是个并列连词，所以，前后结构应该是一样的。
