英语定语从句改错题

The chairman,whom we spoke to yesterday,said that he would be glad to consider whatever suggestions that we may offer.
此题是一道改错题。答案是把that we may offer中的that去掉。为什么这么改呢？先行词是whatever suggestions关系代词that引导定语从句，这样有错么？请老师指点。

那不是个定语从句。是whatever引导的宾语从句，作consider的宾语。 we may offer是这个宾语从句的主语，谓语。

必须去掉 that本回答被提问者采纳

你改的第一个没问题，一定是对的。第二个有疑问，就要看题目有无标明一句话中会出现几句错误。还要结合全文来看。

前面已经有whatever 了，不可以再用that 。
