Question

I arrived in london at last. The railway station was big, black and dark. I did not know the way to my hotel, so i asked a porter. I not only spoke english very carefully, but very clearly as well. The porter, however, could not understand me. I repeated my question serveral times and at last he understood. He answered me, but he spoke neither slowly not clearly. 'I am a foreigner,' I said. then he spoke slowly, but i could not understand him. My teacher never spoke english like that! the porter and i looked at each other and smiled. Then he said something and i understood it. "You'll soon learn english "he said I wonder, In england, each person speaks a different language. The english, understand each ohter, but i don't understand them! do they speak english?

最近我到了伦敦。
火车站很大，很黑。
我不知道去旅馆的路，我就问一个搬运工。
我英语说的很仔细而且很清晰。
但那人听不懂我说的什么。
我重复了好几次，他终于听明白了。
他回答了我，但说的又快又不清晰。
我说：“我是个外国人。”
于是他放慢语速，但我还听不懂。
我的老师从没像他那样说英语。
那搬运工和我互相对视，两人都笑了。
他然后又说了一些话我都听明白了。
“你会学会英文的”，他说。
我想，“在英格兰每个人说着不一样的语言。
他们英国人互相明白，但我却不能明白。
他们到底说的是英语吗？”
