a pair of, a set of, a couple of等等，谓语动词可以单数也可以复数，并不是必须单数， 这取决于主语是否被当作一个整体来看。 如果是一个整体：a pair of trousers, a pair of shoes ， 那谓语用单数， 如果是2个分开的“一对”， 比如 a pair of dogs, a pair of papers(论文）谓语动词用复数。
外国语法对此问题的结论：There's no definitive right or wrong choice. You simple choose the verb that best reflects the singleness or plurality of your subject—does the pair seem more like one thing (a unit) or two separate things?

They're相当于these shoes，指代上文的“这些鞋子”。之所以不能说I have two shoes因为鞋子是成一双的，所以a pair of。但是用代词指鞋子则需要表明这不止一只鞋子，是复数，要用they're指代清楚。It's人家会以为其中一只鞋子50元。
下面keys基本同理。不是问其中哪一根钥匙是不是你的，而是问这些钥匙【全部】都是你的吗，所以要用复数。用单数听起来不是【这套】钥匙，而是【这条】追问

追答你的追问里pair应该是单数。此处有定冠词the，就明确了特指这双袜子。所以下面用it。两幅图里都是a， a set of, a pair of, 并不明确是哪双、哪套。如果不用they're和these，就要用The/This pair (of shoes) is fifthty.和 Is this set (of keys) yours? 于是，为了简洁又准确，必然要用they're和these。还有疑问吗？望采纳哦
