prevent和protect区别

prevent SB doing能在中间加from 吗，doing 能用TO DO 代替吗？
protect SB doing能在中间加from吗，doing能用to do代替吗？
这俩到底怎么个固定搭配法儿呢？很费解哦~~劳驾了

1.Prevent sb (from) doing 阻止（防御）...做...,这里的from，绝对不能用to do代替

2.Protect sb from sth. （保护）使……免于,这里的from不能省，绝对不能用to do代替

3.如果要用doing的话，与其搭配的应该是介词against：
如 Protect sb against doing 防御……不做……

此外，stop sb (from) doing sth
stop sb to do sth

还有一个keep somebody from doing ，和他们是一样的意思，只不过它的from可以省略，但必须用doing
