Installation (EPFI) of Shallow Offshore Platforms and Pipelines for H-Block Development Project REFERENCE: HBLOCK 03.06 PREQUAL
1. INTRODUCTION AND PROJECT OUTLINE
The Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Ltd. (SPDC) is seeking qualified potential contractors as part of the development of its HA, HD and JK(G) fields, which are
located about 20 kilometers offshore Nigeria in water depth of 15-40 meters. The HD field is located some 100 KM south-west of Bonny Island (Bonny Terminal and NLNG), 42 km south of the Nembe Creek field (SPDC) and 29 km south-east of the Brass River oil
terminal (AGIP). The HA field is located some 20 km west of HD. The JK field is approximately 20 km east of HD.
SPDC invites submissions for pre-qualification from reputable and sound organizations having proven experience and expertise in the design, construction, procurement,
integration, installation, hook-up and commissioning of similar facilities.
2. PROJECT SCOPE OF WORK
The selected concept for the integrated development of these fields is a central processing
hub located on the HD Field. This will be used to exploit the oil in the HD field and the gas
and oil in the HA and JK(G) fields via wellhead platforms tied back to the processing hub via multiphase flow lines. The shared hydrocarbon processing facilities will be in the
manned central hub located on HD field. The hub will have a processing capacity of 140,000 bbls/day of oil and condensate and a gas capacity of 460 mmscfd (350 mmscfd
NAG plus 110 mmscfd AG), based on average rates. Gas will be exported via a tie-in, nearby, to the existing Offshore Gas Gathering System (OGGS) pipeline to supply
Nigerian LNG (NLNG) on Bonny Island. Oil will be exported via a new 115 km pipeline for the Bonny Oil and Gas Terminal (BOGT).
