网上查了一些资料，但是感觉那些说的不容易懂，都是些复制的生硬的文字。

一、指代不同

1、what：凡是…的事物、多么、真、太。

2、how：多少，多么，多大。

二、用法不同

1、what：主语是单数时，谓语动词一般是单数，但有时因谓语动词之后有复数名词，谓语动词也可用复数，what引导宾语从句时，常置于谓语之后，用作表语时，放在系动词之后。what还可引导让步状语从句，意思是“不管…”。还可接动词不定式短语。

2、how：how还常用于感叹句中，可修饰谓语动词，在句中作状语，表示程度，意为“多么，何等”。how还可与形容词+带不定冠词的单数可数名词〔不可数名词，复数名词〕构成感叹句。

三、侧重点不同

1、what：what后跟名词。

2、how：how后跟形容词或副词。

What和how引导感叹句的区别- 一、 由"what"引导的感叹句："what"意为"多么"用作定语，修饰名词（被强调部分），单数可数名词前要加不定冠词a/an,复数可数名词或不可数名词前不用冠词。这类句子的结构形式是： what+(a/an)+adj.+n.+主语+谓语+(it is). 如： ① What a clever girl she is! 多么聪明的姑娘呀！ ② What an interesting story it is! 多么有趣的故事呀！ ③ What good children they are! 他们是多么好的孩子呀！ ④ What beautiful flowers they are! 多么漂亮的花呀！ ⑤ What delicious food it is! 多么有味的食物呀！ ⑥ What heavy snow it is! 多么大的雪呀！ 二、由"how"引导的感叹句："how"意为"多么"，用作状语，修饰形容词或副词（被强调部分）。如果修饰形容词，则句中的谓语动词用系动词；如果how修饰副词，则句中的谓语动词用行为动词，这类句子的结构形式是： How+adj.（adv.）+主语+谓语+(it is). 如：① How cold it is today! 今天多么冷呀！ ② How nice the pictures are! 多么漂亮的图画呀！ ③ How happy they look! 他们显得多么高兴呀！ ④ How well she sings! 她唱得多好呀！ ⑤ How hard they are working now! 他们干得多么起劲呀！ 三、在表示同一意义时，英语感叹既可用"what"引导，也可用"how"引导。如： ① What a hot day it is! (= I don‘t know what they do with the problem . )我不知道他们如何处理这个问题。 PS:另外还有一种句子：What if it's raining!(好大的雨！）不能how，这种用法极罕见。

what 后跟名词。如what a beautiful flower it is!这里主语是代词表语是a beautiful flower。 how后跟形容词或副词，如1.How lovely the dog is!这里主语是the dog。而形容词lovely做表语。2.How quickly the man runs!这里是the man 做主语， quickly 副词做状语。
