in order to和so that的区别

in order to和so that都有“以便, 为了”的意思,它们可互换,但用法不同。
1、in order to +动词原形
2、so that+从句
如:
1). He got up eally this morning so that he could catch the early bus .
= He got up early this morning in order to catch the early bus .
2). Our teacher speaks loudly so that we can hear him clearly.
so that 与 in order that可以替换. 但句首不用so that,只用 in order that;逗号之后不用so that,只用 in order that。
如:
1.I've arrived early so that I can get a good view of the procession.
=I've arrived early in order that I can get a good view of the procession.
2.She has bought the book ,in order that she can follow the TV lessons. (此句不能用so that)

so that有两种意思,一个是so...that...
例句I get up early in order to catch the train.
I get up early so that I can catch the train.

so that 与 in order that 的比较
(1)引导目的状语从句时,so that 与 in order that多数可以替换。区别有两点:句首不用so that,只用 in order that;逗号之后不用so that, 只用 in order that。
so that = so adj./ adv.as for sb. (not) to do sth
in order that = in order for sb (not) to do sth
b) 目的状语从句谓语常用may,can, might, could等;结果状语多是did过去式。
