Question

Last year i caught the baby cuckoo and put it in a cage outside. Later its mother flew from the cage with food in her mouth.I was happy to see this ,because of the mother bird knew much better than i did to feed her baby. But the following morning I found the baby bird died. I told the story of my bird my biology techer and he explained that what had happened.A mother cuckoo,finds her baby in a cage,will bring it poison food. She believes it is good for her baby to die than to live in a cage . I still feel sorry for what i do to the bird.

because前不用逗号，because of后加名词，不可加句子

he explained what had happened这是名词性从句中的宾语从句，what做连接词
, finding her baby in a cage,作为插入语，可看作定语从句。find为主动动作，用ing
it is good for her baby to die than to live in a cage . 后有选择，用better
