　　可数名词的复数

　　1)名词+S cake---cakes, chair---chairs

　　2)以s,ss,x,ch,sh结尾的名词,名词+es class---classes watch---watches

　　3)以辅音字母+y结尾的名词，将y改为i，再加-es story---stories

　　4)如果是元音字母+y,则直接加-s boy--boys play---plays

　　5)以o结尾的名词，变复数时，一般加-s piano---pianos zoo---zoos

　　有些加-es potato--potatoes hero--heroes

　　6)以f或fe结尾的 名词，多将f或fe变为-ves，少数加s scarf--scarves

　　特殊情况： roof--roofs proof--proofs

　　少数名词有两种复数表示方式

　　handkerchief---handkerchiefs/ handkerchieves

　　7)以th结尾的名词后加-s bath---baths youth---youths

　　(1)直接加-s, 如：bag-bags,biscuit-biscuits,egg-eggs.

　　(2)当单数名词结尾为s,z,x,sh,软音ch时加-es, 如：box-boxes, peach-peaches. (o有时也是，如hero-heroes)

　　(3)不规则变化，如：ox-oxen, child-children, man-men，mouse-mice

　　(4)不变化，如：deer-deer, sheep-sheep,bread-bread,juice-juice.

　　(5) 在中间加-s,用于连词，如：hanger_on-hangers_on,maid_of_honor-maids_of_honor.

　　(6)可数名词以辅音字母+y结尾，把y去掉再加ies，如：hobby-hobbies,factory-factories.

　　(7)含有oo的可数名词，把oo变成ee，如：foot- feet,tooth-teeth.
