such ……as 和so……that的区别在于引导的从句性质不同。
1. such ……as：比如；诸如；例如；像。
as后面接的是名词短语或者定语从句，此时as前面的名词是先行词，也就是说as作为关系代词，指代前面的名词，在定语从句充当主语、表语、宾语等成分。
例如：
A wise man seldom talks about such things as he doesn't understand.
一个聪明人很少会谈这些他不懂的事物。
We're thinking about such topics as you have mentioned.
我们正在考虑你提到的这些话题。
I have such books as you have read.
我有你读过的那种书。
He himself went home to fetch such things as he lacked.
他亲自跑回家一趟取所缺的东西。
2. so……that：以便；结果是；为使。
that后面接的是结果状语从句；如果是so that，而且所在的从句谓语动词为can、could、may、might+动词原形，引导的是目的状语从句。例如：
She ran so fast that Peter could hardly follow her.
她跑得那么快，彼得几乎跟不上她。
The boy shot questions at me so quickly that I didn't even have time to answer.
那个男孩连珠炮似地向我提问，我连回答的时间都没有。
Grandma loved me so much that I couldn't bear to keep anything from her.
