To hear that you have lost your father is very painful for me to hear. I lost my parents and most of my family members are gone now. I only want to say to you that as time passes, things will not look so bad. Death is a part of life and we know that we will leave sometime, but we never know when. As for your loss, it is something that you must accept because it is reality.
You have my deepest sympathies my friend. Although we have not spent much time together, I do consider you as a treasured friend. I hope that this time passes very quickly, but I know it won't because I have been there many times. As you grow older, the departure of those that are close to you will increase. My best advice is to learn to love them even when they are not physically present.
You can do that by remembering the good things that they taught you and the laughter that you shared with them. Tell your children in the future of the specialness that he had in your life and let them know him through you. That is the only way that anyone can live forever, is to be remembered and talked about. So, sorry to hear it.
In conclusion, I would very much like to see you. The picture of us is great. I want to visit you and take new ones? Waiting on your response and I will see you in person if you have the time.
