Thomas Edison was born in the USA in 1847.When he was eight years old he went to school.But he was at school for only about 3 months.His teacher said that he wasn't worth teaching.And he din't have the ability ti study.His mother had to take him home and teach him herself.When he was 10 he built his own lab.Later he invented the telegram.In his life he made many inventions.He died at the age of 84.
