四、用法不同
hope、wish 都可以表示“希望”，但用法上有所区别。 首先，hope表达的“希望”是真实可以实现的，hope 后面可以跟动词不定式或者宾语从句，例如：
1、I hope to see you soon.希望很快见到你。
2、I hope (that) everything will go smoothly tomorrow.我希望明天一切进展顺利。
wish一般侧重于表达不大可能实现或根本不考虑是否可能实现的愿望。 后面可以直接跟to do的形式，表达“想要”，相当于 want，比如：
I wish to order the product right now.我现在就想订购那款产品。
wish后面还可以跟 sb.+to do的形式，表达希望某人能做某事，这种愿望还是可以实现的，比如：
I wish him to make progress.我希望他进步。
