Usually what people notice about Britain, especially,if they arrived by plane,is the green of the fields, row of bushes and trees making beautiful designs on the land.
Even from the biggest cities it's not difficult to get to the country.Much of the country is of course farmland but there are of wild paths theough the fields, called public footpaths that you can walk along. There is also plenty of wild country you can get to,and much of this is in National Parks and Nationals Forest Parks. There are areas where the country and its animals are apecially protected.
Something you may notice about the British country is that in many areas it changes a lot in a ashort distance.A short drive from the Wye Valley, for example, could take you to the Black Mountains in one direction or the Forest of Dean in another.
