We can see around us that more and more students are going to own a mobile phone .From NOKIA to SIEMENS, from national to imported, from low price to high price……

As a communication device, the mobile phone benefits us a lot. We can use it to keep in touch with our families, our friends and our classmates wherever we are. In festivals, we can send short messages to wish good luck to other people we known. It brings us a lot of convenience.

As a coin has two sides, the mobile phone also has disadvantages. We spend too much time on spelling our words and sending short messages that we can’t focus on our studies. Also, you will always be annoyed by strangers’ calls one after another.

In my opinion, we can use it. But we shouldn’t spend too much time on it and don’t let it disturb us from our studies. And we should not easily tell people our phone numbers who we don’t recognize.

Human creativeness is boundless. With the advance of science and technology, a completely new means of communication the Mobile Phone -came to the world, which, being not fixed inone place like ordinary phones, greatly facilitates telephone communication.
The mobile phone spreads so rapidly, first imm businessmen to office workers, then to township enterprise managers,then to journalists and then nowadays to people of all trades and professions. At present, it seems that nowhere we do not hear the musical ringing of the mobile phone. People at first buy phones for convenience and later for fashion. To occupy this increasingly big market, the manufacturers are worrying their brains into making various types of phones, large or small, cgloured or blackand white, multi-functional or with video cameras,to satisfy the needs. New fashions appear almost every day.
However, it is a great pity that the inventors of the mobilephone did not expect the negative effects caused by their scientific merits. Because of the abuse of the mobile phone,aircraft mechanism refuses to work properly, libraries are no longer so quiet, restaurants are filled with noisy phone talk,teaching is incessantly interrupted by the signals.....
Here, in the picture, a concert is going on. The pianist is supposed to be playing Beethoven's symphony when, all of a sudden, a man with a tie stood up, talking loudly over his mobile phone and telling his friend that he was attending a concert of classical music. The audience shuddered with panic rind the pianist was nearly shocked to death.
It is not infrequent that the above scene happens in public places. True, human beings have the right to enjoy modern civilization, nevertheless, should they know how to conduct themselves in the modern civilized society?

Nowadays,with the rapid development of IT and information industry, cell phones play a dominant role in towns people's life. But, like everything else, they have both favorable and mffavorahle aspects.

First, it's useful. As a wireless mobile telephone, it's easy and handy to early to wherever one goes and call the callee however far away he is. Therefore, it greatly facilitates people's life. Second, it's convenient. Whenever one meets trouble or something urgent, one can nmke a call immediately. Most important of all, it's a very helpful companion. With a multirfunction cell phone in hand, one can easily get on the Net, browsing the useful information, conducting e-commerce and doing whatever one can do via Internet.

However, just as everything has two sides, the cell phone also has many disadvantages. To begin with, it's expensive to buy and costly to pay the hills, esp. that of global service. To make matters worse, it's also easy to lose and costly to get it repaired. Worst of all,it's not as clear as a family telephone and sometimes the number dialed is often not available. Last but not least, it's alleged the microwaves in it might do harm to people's health.

In my opinion,with its expenses greatly reduced after China's entry into the WTO, it will face an ever brighter future in its development. Someday most of them will be developed into new Intemet-enabled mobile phones, which will be as useful as pocket computers. And I believe its advantages will not only offset its disadvantages, but also far outweigh them.
