动词分为“主动词”和“
助动词”两种。而主动词又分为六种词形变化(以use为例):
一般现在时(use),第三人称单数(uses),过去时(used),分词（-ed分词），进行体(using)以及
不定式(to use).
1.
第一人称，第二人称以及第三人称复数用在一般现在时（I，we,you，they) e.g I/ We/You/ They use this book to read.我/我们/你（你们）/他们用这本书来阅读。
2.第三人称单数（He/ She/ It) e.g He/ She/ It uses this ball to play . 他/她/它玩这个球
3.过去时(适合用于任何人称）e.g I/ We/You/ They /He/ She/ It used the ball to play last afternoon. 我/我们/你（你们）/他们/他/她/它昨天下午玩了这个球。
4.分词（-ed分词）用在完成体（现在/完成体）：have/has/had+-ed分词 e.g I have used up this bottle of red ink. 我已经用完这瓶红钢笔水。
5.进行体(am/are/is/was/were+动词ing，其中was是am/is的
过去式；were为are的过去式)以am为例：I am using this pen to write letter now. 我正用这支笔写信。
6.不定式 (to use)：I am going to use the money to buy a car. 我打算用这笔钱来买车。
