1. Spring Festival
The Spring Festival is the most significant event in China. On the eve of the festival, families gather for a reunion dinner. In various regions, setting off fireworks is a favored tradition. Dumplings hold a special place as the quintessential festival food. Children are particularly fond of the occasion due to the delectable treats, new attire, and the custom of receiving red envelopes from parents, which are believed to bring good fortune.
2. Spring Festival Experience
This morning, I arose at six o'clock and proceeded to brush my teeth and clean my face. I then enjoyed breakfast with my parents. At midday, I visited my grandparents' home and spent time with my aunts, uncles, and cousins. In the afternoon, we came together to make dumplings. In the evening, we savored a feast including dumplings, sweet and sour pork, and numerous other delicious dishes. Post-dinner, my parents and I returned home where we set off fireworks before retiring for the night.
