妈妈小得时候家里很穷，她上完初中便辍学了，因为没钱上高中。之后她和我舅舅在乡镇上开了一家副食店，平常几乎都是我妈妈看店，舅舅骑车出去挨家挨户地卖东西。那时候我妈妈才17岁。后来我舅舅结婚了，副食店也赚了不少钱。他便提议和我妈妈一起去市里开大一点的超市，我妈没去，因为她觉得这样已经够了。
妈妈和我父亲认识在21年前，之后有了我。不过我高三那年他们离婚了。我有问过妈妈离婚了她会不会很悲伤，然而她说不会，每个人都有自己的路，她很喜欢现在的感觉，知足最好。最后如我所愿，妈妈碰到了一个性格合得来的另一半。她现在生活得很好，时不时给我寄东西，有来自各地的明信片也有她自己做的干果片。。。
妈妈教会我很多东西，但是我觉得知足最受用。世界上的诱惑很大，能知足的人却很少，我很感激她让我面对得失成败能保持一颗淡然的心。
