the other
这个吊娃娃机里只有俩娃娃，你吊起来了其中一个，这时候你女朋友说: "This one is too ugly!!! The other one looks much better!!!"
the other一般是在二选一的选择当中，选另外一个。
another
你吊起来了一个娃娃，娃娃机里还有一堆娃娃，这时你女朋友说: "Can you get another one for me?"
