当某事物数量两个以上就要复数形式，即名词后加s或es，如： two cats 两只猫。My two cats often fight against each other.
当某事物数量只有一个，或者不能直接数来数的名词（如：不能说two water ,但能说two drops of water),也就是能用he she it 代词代替的名词 叫做第三人称单数，当第三人称单数做主语时，谓语动词要加s 或es 如： She has a cat . 她有一只猫。Her cat often fights against my two cats.她的那只猫经常和我的两只猫打架。注意 什么情况名词加s，什么情况动词加s。
