初中英语，3道选择题不懂，求指导

问：为什么答案是D，不是B？

译：流行歌手的粉丝中有两千人在音乐厅外面等着他。
析：本题的关键在这个定冠词上。如果没有它，则AB都对。思路：2000太大，说10好了。能说the ten fans (这十个粉丝），不能说：ten the fans吧？所以排除A。C是明显错误，大多数人能排除。楼主其实已经将这两个排除了。
先说D的正确性：见过：Two of the students吗？就是“那些学生中的两个，这时候的two是名词，而且是中心词，of the students是它的定语。类推，two thousand of the fans是一回事。这歌手的粉丝可多了，远不止两千，就是那天去迎接他，想和他见面的那些个粉丝（the fans) 也不止两千，其中在音乐厅外面等着的就有两千！
最有迷惑性的就是这个B！其实D，在常识上不妥，有谁数过，那么巧，在外面等的正好是两千个？不是2005个？加个about会好些。而thousands of ...正好是一个比较模糊而有合理的数字：几千个 （有谁会去数？ 2000～9999之内，都可以这么说。问题还是出在这个the上。Thousands of fans ...(数千个粉丝。。。）,没有问题。thousands of the fans....呢？只能理解成“这些粉丝中有数千人”，从语法结构上和two thousand of the fans是一样的，中心词是thousands, of the fans是定语。但总感觉这样表达不是很好。也许是受了标准答案的影响吧。
评：这个题目可能有争议。也很难说B就不行。只能说选D为最 佳吧。

析：省略回答.A=I will not return to China until next week. return是个短暂性动词，不能延续，而其否定结构表状态，可以延续，所以不选B=I will return... until...
a few days ago是表过去的时间状语，显然不对。所以C被楼主排除了。
D.=I will return to China after a few weeks. 是很有争议的。一般要表示：我过几个星期就回国，说：I will return to China in a few weeks. 但这里的in,其英语解释就是after,所以不能说它是错的。
请看《Longman》：in prep. 12 (with lengths of time) b after; at the end of :It's 2 o'clock; I'll be back in an hour.(=at 3 o'clock). "will be finished in a month or so".
解释就用的是after

我网上搜索了一下，严谨一些的出题者会避免这个after...选项：

析：本题考定语从句。从句her mother died中，die为不及物动词，主语已经有了是her mother,不缺主、宾，不用关系代词which和that，排除CD。
定语从句应紧跟先行词，所以这里的先行词应是时间名词the year,所以要么用关系副词when,要么用in which，如用where,则一方面被隔离，另一方面，London是不需要一个限制性定语从句的。所以排除B。
楼上有选C的，可能认为that引导一个同位语从句吧，但见过year后有同位语从句的吗？它们同“称谓”=》同位吗？
评：这是一道随手题，语境，意境都很差的题，所以网上还没有。

第二个不是太确定，我是凭语感做的，感觉在这个地方用not until不太合适，如果硬要选A的话，只能是这样理解，i will NOT return China UNTIL next week.(大写是为了让你看清楚)
第一个绝对是选B，A选项是明显的搭配错误。你看还有个人和我翻译的是一样的
