get 什么时候加to什么时候不加 例

Tom will call me as soon as he gets home.
I felt sad when I got to school.
这两句不都可以不加to或都加to吗？有什么区别吗？

home是地点副词。所以不加。
get there和get here 就不加 对吧？ 因为there和here也是副词。

当然get to school 、get to the hospital 、get to the mountain。。 不是副词，就要to了。
