英语动词作伴随状语求解

The country,covered with cherry tree flowers, looks as if it is covered with pink snow.
其中covered、与looks都被逗号隔开,为什么没用+Ing成为伴随状语
“We can't go out in this weather,"said Bob,looking out of the window.
这里的look又+ing表状语紧跟表同时发生?

其实你想知道的也就是“分词短语”的知识:普通动词的“现在分词”或使动动词的“过去分词”引导一个短句作状语的时候表达的就是你说的“伴随”状态。比如:
1、现在分词形式
Seated himself besides the window, he spent all that day on learning something.
2、过去分词形式
Sitting besides the window, he spent all that day on learning something.

刚回答完你又加了补充,其实2个逗号之间的部分是插入语,你可以把它放到最前面(这时候是状语),也可以放到最后面(这时候是补语)。

主句的主语是The country,谓语动词是looks(因为是谓语,所以不能是分词形式的非谓语动词),而covered就是我上面所说的过去分词表伴随的情况。因为contry是被flower覆盖的,用被动语态,使动动词之所以用被动语态,因为它是被使得怎么样。现在明白了吧?追问

一定要记得,主从复合句中主句是句子的主干,从句是主句的一个句子成份(相当于某一个词类),而一个句子只能且必须有一个谓语动词,所以looks就是谓语动词,它不能写成looking,否则主句就没有谓语了。
