My name is Kelly. I have a little sister, Jenny, who is 6 years old. When my parents go out I have to babysit her.
I’ve babysat my neighbor’s kids and my cousins and I get on well with them. But I find it really hard to look after Jenny. She makes it so difficult for me to keep control. She seems to think she can do what she wants when my parents aren’t around. She doesn’t go to bed when it is really late. I can’t carry her to her bedroom because she kicks1 me. In fact, I can’t move her very far anyway because she just fights me off.
I don’t want to hurt her but she hurts me often. One evening, I was trying to get her out of my room. I was asking her nicely but she then picked me up and carried me out of my room. It’s scary how strong she is for her age and I think she is actually2 stronger than me now.
