我们可以把它写成：

eg . Music is his favorite.

1. 用词贵在精确
eg. Want 是个笼统、空洞的词。写作时应多用hope, desire, be eager to, long for,
look forward to, intend 等更能达意的词或词组.
eg. A good teacher 是一个笼统的写法.
如何 “good”, 读者不明所以. 如使用
strict,
kind-hearted,
considerate,
well-learnt,
a teacher with a sense of humor
就会更具体准确.
eg. 一人离开房间
笼统的写法:
A person walks out of the room
精确的写法:
1. 活泼的小女孩走出房间.
The lovely little girl was dancing out of the room
2. 小偷潜出房间.
The thief slipped out of the room.
2. 用词贵在简洁
行文简洁一直是作家们追求的目标,要达此目的, 运用同位语是一个不错的选择.
eg. 在广东的西南部, 有一个富饶美丽的
村庄, 叫做大同村, 那是我的故乡.

2) My hometown, a rich, beautiful place
