我是说do you finish? 还是说are you finished?

Has it been finished ?

He goes to school by bus everyday. Does he go to school by bus everyday?
He walks to the supermarket. Does he walk to the supermarket?
He bought some eggs. Did he buy any eggs?
He came late. Did he come late?
He is an engineer. Is he an engineer?
He was a teacher last year. Was he a teacher last year?
He is handsome. Is he handsome?
你看,go walk buy come都是一类动词,提问都用do,或者does,或者did,而本身原句里有be动词,也就是am is are was were时,提问就用相应的be。

“你结束了吗”用英语说,可能是“Is it done?”,"Have you finished?",不太可能用“do you finish?”。
