I am glad to have the opportunity of making this presentation. The main area that I intend to cover in this presentation is advertising translation.
First, let’s talk about peculiarities of advertising translation. they must be attractive,so they can catch the reader’s attention, and also, be creative,it could project an image. And then, impressive. Of course, to produce an impact. And I think the most important one, persuasive, because only be persuasive could urge the reader to act.
And now, let me introduce some skills of advertising translation.

文字游戏:
利用谐音以及一些经典的句型它能使广告形象生动,风趣幽默,给所宣传的商品增添魅力。
We can use the partial tone and some key sentences. They can make the image of the advertisement vivid, charm and humor, so as to increase charm force to the commodity propagated.
双关语
These ads translation based on social and cultural, with a distinctive, unique language form of pun, not only enhance the attractiveness of advertising, but also reflect the art of the advertising language.

增译法
These ads need to add some important information,to make it detailed and clear.
套译法
套用中英文的固有表达模式、俗语、诗词及流行语,巧妙地使译文符合消费者的心理习惯,从而达到宣传效果。
Using the language’s natural expression patterns, phrase, poem and popular words and sentences to make the ads conformity to consumers’ custom, so as to achieve the better promotional effect。
创译法
创译法是指翻译时不拘泥于原意义与语音进行大胆创新,甚至取一个新名,以求译名与原名在功能或效果上的对等.
